The first Monday of the month will be dedicated to posting a recipe from the Iowa State Extension and Outreach website titled "Spend Smart, Eat Smart" which features low cost, yummy dishes.
Since October is famous for apples (along with pumpkins, ghosts, and cooler weather) the recipe this month is for a tasty treat that is also very healthy. Please follow the link below to view the recipe along with the picture of the delicious apple dessert.
